GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - A former Fabius Township supervisor has been given and 18-to-50-year prison sentence for the sexual assault of a golf course employee 14 years ago.

Prosecutors say Kenneth Linn, 58, took the victim to a home in Portage after encouraging her to drink after a golf outing in St. Joseph County.

"She was physically helpless due to extreme intoxication and unable to give consent," the Attorney General's office said in a news release.

Lynn was charged last fall.
