High-end retailer Von Maur is coming to Woodland Mall, the owner of the Grand Rapids area mall confirmed Thursday morning.
Von Maur is slated to open in 2019, replacing longtime anchor Sears. The store's March closing comes after PREIT bought the 313,000 square feet building. PREIT plans surround the new store with 10-15 retailers and 3-4 restaurants, a spokeswoman said.
The 90,000 square-foot store will be the first location in West Michigan for the family-owned Iowa chain.
