GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Organizers of the Movies on Monroe in downtown Grand Rapids have rescheduled Friday’s event.
Downtown Grand Rapids Inc. announced the showing of “West Side Story” and “The Shape of Water” scheduled for Friday, July 20 has been rescheduled to Friday, Aug. 31.
Movies on Monroe, formerly known as Movies in the Park, is a free outdoor movie series held in the parking lot at 555 Monroe Avenue.
The movie series started on June 8. Movies on Monroe has three more events this summer:
- Aug. 3: “Shrek” and “Hidden Figures”
- Aug. 17: “Wonder Woman” and “Black Panther”
- Aug 31: “West Side Story” and “The Shape of Water”
