Griffins beat Penguins 4-1

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — You really can't overstate the importance of Saturday night’s homestand for the Grand Rapids Griffins; once they finish up playing seven straight at Van Andel Arena, they will close out the regular season with 14 of their final 21 games on the road.

Saturday was Super Hero Night, and the Griffins beat the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins 4-1 with three goals in the third period to take the game.
