Dealership thieves toss keys during Ottawa Co. chase

GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities are searching for the suspects who broke into a car dealership, stole vehicles and led deputies on a high-speed chase in Ottawa County.

An employee of Parkway Auto in Georgetown Township told News 8 thieves broke into the Chicago Drive business around 2 a.m. Wednesday and stole dozens of vehicle keys, a GMC Terrain and a Jeep.

Around 2:15 a.m., deputies tried to pull over a vehicle that made an illegal turn onto Chicago Drive near Port Sheldon Street, but the driver kept going, leading deputies on a chase.
