NEW YORK(NY) After nearly three decades, The latest AKC ratings once again show the ever-popular Labrador retrievers as America's most popular purebreds.
While Labs reigned as the #1 breed per the American Kennel Club rankings released Friday, The top five was rounded out by German Shepherd's at number two, golden retrievers at #3, French bulldogs came in at number four, and the standard bulldog was fifth most popular breed.
For the first time ever, the loyal and popular Welsh Corgi landed in the top 10 at number 10.
