DEARBORN, Mich.– On Saturday Ford announced they will test symptomatic employees for COVID-19 in southeastern Michigan, Kentucky, Missouri, and Illinois as these employees return to work.
Company management said that contracts have been signed with Beaumont Health to “quickly test hourly and salaried employees with suspected symptoms of COVID-19."
Ford said company employees with COVID-19 symptoms will receive a prescription for a test from Ford’s onsite doctors, allowing them to undergo a test with Beaumont Health. Ford employs about 46,000 workers in the southeastern Michigan region.
