MI sees over 9,000 COVID-19 cases in 2 days

The Michigan Department on Health and Human Services is confirming 9,010 cases of Coronavirus and 62 deaths over the course of two days.

Labs tested 39,918 samples for COVID-19 on Saturday with 4,506 coming back positive, for a rate of 11.29 percent.

On Sunday, labs tested 47,082 samples and 5,525 were positive for a rate of 11.73 percent.

Kent County saw 10 deaths and 981 cases between Saturday and Sunday.
