Holland City Council Vote Slated for February on LG Property Tax Break

HOLLAND (WOOD-AM) - A proposed $1.7 billion expansion at the LG Energy Solutions facility on Holland's south side would reportedly bring another 1,000 "skilled and high-paying" jobs to the community by 2025.

City documents indicate the company wants to add a two-story building to its site to expand battery production.

A renaissance zone vote is expected by the city council on February 22. If approved, the state will determine whether the project will get a 20-year break on property taxes.
