The Big Three 9-29-22
1 Ian is no longer a hurricane. It’s weakened into a tropical storm after making landfall along the southwestern coast of Florida near Cayo Costa as a powerful Category 4 hurricane Wednesday.
After 12 hours of churning over the coast, Ian is making its way across the state now.
2 million Floridians are without power this morning.

Tudor Dixon Proposes the Women’s Sports Fairness Act
3 Rep. Thomas Albert, chair of the House Appropriations Committee, abruptly resigned from his post yesterday over what he characterized was a deep opposition to the year-end budgetary supplemental expected to work its way through the Legislature the same day.
Albert has been vocally opposed to any further state spending.
He’s said he believed the state could be heading into a recession and Michigan should save as much as it could at the state level.
