The Rapid bus service's Silver Line is changing available payment options.
Starting Tuesday, Silver Line buses will use Wave bus fare card readers or riders will be able to pay with exact change.
The change will avoid expensive equipment replacements, improve customer experiences and align with the rest of the bus system.
A monthly Wave card costs $47 and provides for unlimited rides.
Rides for adults are $1.75.
