A Lowell teen is facing criminal charges after he allegedly posted a threat against Lowell High School online.
The Kent Count Sheriff's Department says the 15-year-old does not attend Lowell Public Schools.
The threat was allegedly posted to Instagram on Sunday night and officials learned of the threat on Tuesday.
The teen is now facing charges of false report or threat of a bomb or harmful device.
