The Gerald R. Ford International Airport is the best small airport in the U.S. according to the USA Today readers poll.
The top 20 airports were chosen by a panel of editors and experts and the community was able to vote to narrow the list down to the top 10.
The airport was complemented on its military welcome center, playrooms for kids and other amenities.
Airport authority President and CEO Tory Richardson says they receive incredible support from the community and the award confirms their commitment to the guest experience.
