GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - A suspect in a counterfeit ring that hit Meijer and Spartan Nash stores last year is behind bars.
Michigan State Police arrested 32-year-old Brandon Angel last month.
Investigators say he forged payout slips from Coinstar machines, then sent other people into the stores to cash them in.
Angel is jailed on $50,000 bond.
