City of Kentwood using $300K grant for trail work

The city of Kentwood will use a $300,000 grant to make improvements to trails.

The grant comes from the Michigan Resources Trust Fund and will be put toward work on the Paul Henry Thornapple Trail.

The city says asphalt will be replaces on 2.8 miles of the trail from Kalamazoo Avenue and 44th Street to East Paris Avenue and 60th Street.

The work will begin in 2025.
