The Harbor Humane Society has reached maximum capacity and is running an emergency Empty The Shelters event.
The shelter is offering adult dog adoptions for only $25 through Saturday.
Typically, fees to adopt an adult dog are $175.
The fees help cover the cost of keeping the dogs up on vaccinations, spaying or neutering them and paying for care at the shelter.
