Website Travel and Leisure is naming the top 25 best beaches in the United States and one beach in the Mitten state is making the list.
Number 11 on the list is Grand Haven State Park.
The website notes the powdery white sand, playground for children, scenic views of the lake and the south pier and lighthouses.
Also making the list Poipu Beach in Hawaii, Ocean City in Maryland, Coronado Beach in San Diego, Pope Beach in Lake Tahoe and Clearwater Beach in Florida.
Beaches were selected based on a variety of features including sand quality, wave levels, public transportation, boardwalks or nearby activities and more.
