GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Godfrey-Lee Public Schools are closed today as a precaution after someone with the district received a threat.
Grand Rapids and Wyoming police are investigating.
No additional information about the threat was released.
The district says no students or staff should report to school today.
"The safety and well-being of our students and our staff is our top priority and we take all threats seriously," the district said in a press release. "We are waiting for further information from law enforcement before clearing our staff, students, and community to return to our campuses."
The district says it will provide more information once it becomes available.
